Neways Becomes Title Sponsor of the Maui Paradise Marathon

SPRINGVILLE, UTAH (November 07, 2008)-Neways (www.neways.com) has been named the title sponsor of the annual Maui Paradise Marathon. Set in beautiful Maui, Hawaii, with breathtaking views of the ocean, mountains, volcanoes, and lush scenery, this marathon will next occur in Kalama Park, Kihei, on Sunday, January 11, 2009.

"This is an exciting opportunity for Neways," said Thierry Sorhaitz, Neways North America managing director. "This is our first major athletic event in the world where we are the title sponsor."

The Neways Maui Paradise Marathon is an event for all types of runners, no matter their skill or expertise. Events include a full marathon, half marathon, 5K, and children's events. "For those not wanting to run, we welcome any volunteers," says Sorhaitz. "There will be an unlimited number of participants, so come one, come all!"

"Neways feels that this is a great initiative to help make our Healthy Homes program a reality by motivating everyone to train for this event," said Sorhaitz. "Neways knows that our eco-friendly and healthy products will help everyone get in shape and reach their marathon potential. This marathon's mission is to be ecologically friendly and sound, just like the Neways mission." For example, Neways' environmentally friendly recycled, reusable bags will be used as registration bags for the race participants, so that thousands of plastic bags will not go to waste.

Neways North America has invited distributors from Japan to participate in the event, and hundreds of distributors from both regions are expected to attend either as participants or volunteers. In conjunction with this event, Neways will hold distributor meetings and trainings.
